WHO High-Level Regional Meeting on How Health Systems Respond to NCDs: Experience in the European Region

The Director of the Clalit Research Institute was invited as a keynote expert speaker at the WHO high-level regional meeting on how Health Systems Respond to NCDs held in Sitges, Spain. Attendees included high-level WHO officers, select Member States and a network of experts. The meeting focused on the presentation of evidence and country experiences for how governments can adapt their health systems to effectively meet the growing challenge of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). The meeting’s outcome document is meant to contribute to the United Nations High-level Meeting on NCDs in 2018.
