WHO Country Consultation on Integrated NCD Surveillance

In response to policy and strategy developments on EU and global level in the area of surveillance, the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe organized a meeting from 8-9 December 2015 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The meeting was organized as part of a project on integrated Noncommunicable Disease (iNCD) surveillance, supported by the European Commission and the WHO. The outcomes of the meeting contributed to addressing the current main challenges of NCD reporting in Europe, and to provide Member States with a common framework, definitions and instruments for NCD surveillance.
